WIN - SLOVAKIA

a national organization of WIN Global is a section of Slovak Nuclear Society and it was formally established in 1997.
approximately 70 women nuclear and radiation professionals working in these fields are members of WIN Slovakia at present

WIN - Global

Women in Nuclear - Global is a worldwide association of women working professionally in the fields of nuclear energy and applications of ionizing radiation resources. The goal of WIN is to contribute to objectively informing the public on nuclear and radiation. Members of WIN want the general public to have a better understanding of nuclear energy and radiation matters.

WIN Global was established in 1993 and currently has approximately

2 000 members in 51 countries and 10 000 associated members.

The WIN symbol

The smiling atom - is a symbol for all positive and beneficial uses of the atom and the general publics´appreciation of the uses . WIN wants to address the concerns of the general public and give the smile back to the atom as well as a human face to both nuclear and radiation technologies.
